Need an impartial technical opinion on a vehicle failure?

Get in Touch

Need an impartial technical opinion on a vehicle failure?

Sometimes the question isn't simply, “Can my warranty claim be appealed?”

You may need to understand what actually happened to your vehicle and whether the available evidence supports the conclusion you've been given.

The Warranty Advocate provides a detailed, document-based technical assessment of the evidence supplied. This is an objective technical opinion, prepared independently of the warranty provider, garage, or any other party whose decision is being challenged.

What Does the Evidence Actually Show?

We examine the available diagnostic information, photographs, repair documentation, inspection reports, and relevant technical information to establish:

  • What does the evidence support?
  • What does it not establish?
  • Are there gaps or inconsistencies that need addressing?
  • Does the proposed cause of failure appear technically supported by the evidence available?

Where another inspector's report has already been produced, the assessment can also include a structured review of its findings and methodology.

What Your Report Includes.

Your formal technical assessment will be structured to include:

  • Vehicle and failure history
  • Diagnostic evidence review
  • Fault-code and test-result analysis
  • Photographic and teardown evidence review
  • Failure-mechanism assessment
  • Causation analysis
  • Review of existing inspection findings
  • Identification of evidence limitations
  • A formal technical conclusion

OUR COMMITMENT TO OBJECTIVITY

We don't decide the conclusion before reviewing the evidence.

We don't decide the conclusion before reviewing the evidence.

If the evidence supports a challenge, we will explain why.

If further evidence is required, we will tell you what is missing.

If the available evidence supports the existing conclusion, we will tell you that too.

Technical Experience Behind the Assessment

You need to know that the person reviewing your evidence actually understands the mechanics of the failure. Our assessments are based on extensive, hands-on experience in vehicle diagnostics, mechanical failure analysis, and formal warranty claim adjudication.
